The WHY? - Reader questions Pt4

Hello all! I'd first like to begin today's blog on Friday, June 13th to wish one very special blogger a happy, happy birthday! So happy birthday J.P.!!!!!! Okay so we're continuing with the questions - The Why?'s of LOVE - and a couple were submitted to me yesterday and this morning. I'm asking these questions word for word the way they've been submitted. Give a listen and if you feel like it try to give an answer as well! Can't wait to hear your thoughts . . .

1 - Can you weigh love? A lot of times couples ask "do you love me?" "Yes!" "How much" and I've been thinking how do you really answer that. Can you weigh love, or is love to much to even weigh? (Submitted by RockWill)

2 - Insomnia is the beast that wrestled with me last night! During my battle, hundreds of thoughts raced through my mind. This is one that stayed long enough for contemplation-- And for the record- I am very aware of those normal bloggers that have been responding and how they are completely smitten and in love with the very faint sweet scent that is left behind when their companion leaves the room.... YEAH YEAH YEAH....BUT..... just .... suppose........and indiscretion occurs. I won't clarify or qualify that word- take it for what it's worth!
If YOU committed the indiscretion, Do YOU tell them........or if THEY committed the act... do YOU wanna know?
Not to be a buzz kill, just a thought! (Submitted by lovinthisjourney)

Question 1 - I don't believe that love can be weighed. I think that with all that love encompasses - all of the complex and intricate components - if we tried weighing it we'd have a hell of a time finding an adequate "mechanism" to get us an accurate . . . weight. This is a tough one to answer but I will say that love is a HEAVY thing. It takes you from one extreme to the next and that's about as good as you can get with trying to acquire love's weight. It ain't gon' happen. All I can say is . . . just love without concern about how much you love him or her or how much they love you. Love is . . . there's no weight in ounces, pounds, kilos, or even EMOTION. How many of us have dealt with love making us feel shitty, blissful, confused, unaware, aloof, hateful, cranky, sappy, ecstatic? Try putting all of that and then some on a love scale. Love just is . . . Not sure that I got my point across but . . . I don't believe weighing love is a possibility.

I don't think it can be weighed either. I often ask Mona "Do you know how much I love You?" and she says if "I could tell you, we'd have a problem !" LOL ! Love is the Limitless Source that drives the Universe into Orbit. it's Definitely an Immeasurable Source. Hey RockWill, Garnett is one game away ! I think they just Want it More than Kobe and them ! What you think Mama ?

#2- Journey you gave me a headache on this one. Ummm if you mean you cheated then just don't fall in love with the object of your indiscretion unless you are prepared to dead the one you're currently with. If he did it then all I can think is What you don't know can't hurt you so I hope he cares enough about your feelings to keep any knowledge of his indiscretion under wraps.

As for question 2 - I'd rather be blissfully unaware than knowledgeable and miserable. And if I were the culprit . . . let's see. I have an example. I recently saw Sex and the City with one of my girlfriends and Steve had had sex with another woman. He'd only done it because Miranda wasn't . . . . putting out and he was dying inside. So one night he just flat out told her and he appeared to be more heartbroken than she was. She momentarily hated him (while still loving him - ain't love funny) and she kicked him out. But I think that with all of that said . . . these are things that have to be worked out if you really want to be with the person or if you know regardless of what "indiscretion" was committed that they are in fact the one that you are meant to be with. Things happen and you can't hold people's faults against them forever. So with that said . . . I probably wouldn't want to know but I'd also be the one to tell on myself if I was the one that "did it".
